If you have left something behind on one of our buses, trains or trams please get in touch and we will do what we can to reunite you and your lost property.

Phone (01624) 662525 or email publictransport@gov.im and give a description of the item, where and when you think you left it (which service, bus number if known, time, etc.) and if we find it we will let you know where you can collect it from.

Passengers wishing to claim valuable items, official documents, mobile phones and bank cards are required to provide proof of ownership or detailed knowledge of the items being claimed - e.g. passport, driving licence, utility bill. All items collected will require a signature from the individual collecting.

Any property left on our buses, trains or trams is logged and retained for a maximum period of 30 days. If the owner does not contact us and we cannot identify the owner of an item of lost property by reasonable means within 30 days, we will dispose of the item in accordance with our procedures. Perishable goods will be disposed of after 24 hours. We do not keep or take enquiries for lighters, soiled clothing, flammable substances or other items that may be hazardous or undesirable to store.

Items left on school buses will be returned to the relevant school, providing it can be identified, except on the last day of the school term. Therefore please contact your school direct.
