Go Gold

Go Gold cards are our disability concession passes for eligible residents and up to two carers.

Go Gold cards entitle the holder to:

  • Concessionary fares on scheduled bus vannin services before 9 am on weekdays
  • Free travel on scheduled bus vannin services after 9 am on weekdays
  • Free travel on scheduled bus vannin services on Public Holidays and Weekends
  • Concessionary fares on scheduled Isle of Man Railways* services

*Isle of Man Railways includes the Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railways. Douglas Bay Horse Tramway not included.

Go Gold Plus

Go Gold Plus cards are issued to eligible residents who are registered blind or partially sighted with Sight Matters.

Go Gold Plus entitles the holder to:

  • Free travel on scheduled bus vannin services at any time.
  • Free travel for guide dogs
  • Concessionary fares on Isle of Man Railways* scheduled services

*Isle of Man Railways includes the Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railways. Douglas Bay Horse Tramway not included.

How do I apply?

Go Gold: please contact the Manx Care on +44 1624 686325

Go Gold Plus: These cards are only available through Sight Matters. Please contact them directly on +44 1624 674727.

Once your pass has been authorised we will issue the pass and post it out to you.

I've lost my card

Please let us know as soon as possible by visiting or calling the Welcome Centre in the Sea Terminal on +44 1624 662525 so we can cancel your card. We will then be able to issue you with a replacement for a charge of £10. 

How long does my card last?

Go Gold and Go Gold Plus cards will be renewed every three years - please visit the Welcome Centre in the Sea Terminal to renew.
